Description: Searching for information concerning a particular Harkins family, from Morgan County, Ohio, William Harkins, married to Elizabeth Thompson, in Athens County, Oh., 25 June 1832. Resided in Morgan County. Have suspicion that they were related to the Dugan's of Morgan County, Ohio as well. Am trying to find out who William's parents were, if he was in fact from Butler County, Pa? Same as John Simon Dugan, and Robert J.J. Dugan, as well as Mary/Elizabeth Dugan Harkins. The Dugan's and Mary/Elizabeth Harkins moved to Morgan County, Oh., in Feb. 1818, with her 9 Unknown Harkins children. Found out her one son, the youngest of 9 children, 6 girls and 3 boys, was Robert J.J. Harkins. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you.
