my great-great-grandfather, Thomas Bassett who moved to Manitoba from Ontario somewhere around 1929. He had three children: William, Richard (1855) and Laura (1863). Richard was born in Huntsville, Muskoka. He married Lillian Adriana Lyman in Florida in 1890 and then moved to Gilbert Plains, MB where they took up farming. Laura moved there too.
