my great-great-grandfather, Thomas Bassett who moved to Manitoba from Ontario somewhere around 1929. He had three children: William, Richard (1855) and Laura (1863). Richard was born in Huntsville, Muskoka. He married Lillian Adriana Lyman in Florida in 1890 and then moved to Gilbert Plains, MB where they took up farming. Laura moved there too. descendants of HENRY KULP CLYMER (1812-1865) and MARY HALDEMAN BENNER (1818-1899) HENRY KULP CLYMER was the great grandson on Henrich Clemmer and most likely the great great grandson of Immigrant Ancestor Bishop Valentine Klemmer who arrived in Pennsylvania in 1717. Henrich and Maria Clemmer settled in Franconia Township, Montgomery County before 1740 and are buried behind the Franconia Mennonite Church. The log home that Henrich built still stands enclosed in another home near the Allentown Road (behind MOPAC)in Franconia Township. In 1886 a CLYMER married a SWARTLEY. In 1912 a SWARTLEY married a WEIR. In 1946 a WEIR married a NULL. In 1975 a NULL married a BASINGER. Barcom from Wisconsin and Canada, Meier later changed to Meyer from Wisconsin decended from John Meier in Germany, Johnston from the West Monroe, Oswego County New York area and the Sheboygan County Wisconsin area and Zettel from Wisconsin decended from Sebastian Zettel of Germany, the area of Bavaria. The name Barcom stems from the French name Berthiuame and is spelled by some branches as Barcomb, Barcome and several others. Zettel is sometimes spelled Zettl. Sebastian, Maria and their three children settled in Leroy, Wisconsin. Son Joseph later moved to West Bend, Washington, Wisconsin while daughter Maria, Teresa and son Xaver remained in the Leroy area . Joseph's son Albert settled in Baron, Wisconsin while the rest of his children remained in the West Bend area. Anthony and Ann (Benson) Wrigglesworth's line which I have traced to about 1780 in Kirkby Overblow and Thorner, Yorkshire, England. In 1889 Anthony's great grandson Aaron Wrigglesworth came to the United States and settled in Connecticut. Over the period from 1893-1896, Aaron brought his parents and siblings to Connecticut from England. My family first settled in Bristol,Connecticut and then into Kensington and New Britain, Connecticut. Shortly after arriving in 1889 Aaron changed his last name from Wrigglesworth to Hall.
