August LICHTER and Franz ERBER families from Schlesien, Germany, especially from the Kunzendorg, Rengersdorf and Beutengrund areas, who during and after World War II were dispersed to many areas of Germany. \r\nAUGUST LICHTER, born July 10, 1856 in Lower Schlesien, Germany, died January 1, 1935 in Rengersdorf, Schlesien, and his wife, MARIA HELLMANN, born November 1, 1857 in Marienthal, Kr. Habelschwerdt, Schlesien, died November 2, 1902 in Rengersdorf, Schlesien. They were married in 1879 in Habelschwerdt, Schlesien.\r\nAugust and Maria Lichter had five children: Paul, born May 29, 1880, Anna, born July 7, 1882, Emma, born April 14, 1885, Richard, born July 17, 1888 and Heinrich, born August 21, 1991. His two youngest sons immigrated to Canada. Richard in 1913 and Heinrich (Henry) in 1923. |
