Edward Bently Gilder, Head Maggie Reese Gilder, Wife Alice Gilder, Daughter, born June 29th, 1896 Gertrude Gilder, Daughter, born about 1894 Edward and Maggie had one more daughter in 1901...Marian, and then Maggie died when Marian was 4 or 5 (1905-1906). Edward was born around 1864 and immigrated to this country from England around 1890. His wife was Maggie Reese, born around 1874 in Philadelphia. Maggie died around 1905 in Philadelphia. Maggie had one sister Elsie. Frederick Buchler married Marian Gilder on May 26th, 1924. Frederick was born in Pennsylvania on Dec 11th, 1887. He had two older brothers, Augustus and William. All of them were born in Pennsylvania, but either one or both of their parents were born in Germany. Frederick's birth certificate lists his parents as Joseph and Mrs. Biehler, but his Baptismal Certificate lists his parents as Frederick Bichler and Elizabeth Fillers, and still another record (his Funeral book) lists his Parents as Augusta and Elizabeth Buchler. Genealogy Report: Descendants of Redden Jasper Lollar I am a Decendent of Redden Jasper and Parthenia Cummings through their youngest child, Thomas Randall Lollar. Thomas was born in Mississippi and later moved to Texas after his parents passed away. He move to Texas with an Older Sister, whom at this point in my research believe to be Martha (Mattie) Lollar Thompson, born Feb 1862 in Mississippi. She and Hiram moved to Grand Saline, Van Zandt County, Texas in the early 1900's. Mattie died in Wood County, Texas March 18, 1933. Hiram died before that time, possibly 1925-1927. Thomas R. Lollar married Lula Lee Lankford on July 13, 1906 in Henderson County, Texas. Many people believe that they Married in Van Zandt County, Texas, however their marrige is recorded in Henderson County, Texas. Lula was the Daughter of Pleasant Albert Lankford and Euginia Everett. |

I am also interested in the Rowen's. I know I have two decendents of the Revelutionary War, Michael Collier and Christopher Rowen. Mabel Rowen was the daughter of John Rowen who lived in Pa. (Kensington). John's father was William Rowen, son of Henry Rowen. Henry married Elizabeth Collier, daughter of Ann and Michael Collier. Michael was a drummer in the Revelutionary War. I am also interested in the Hudson and Martin families. The Hudson's originated in England. The Martin's are from West Virginia. |

Thomas John Henry's fathers name was Richard Henry and lived in Canada before moving to Colorado.Thomas John owned a ranch in Adams county Colorado until his death in the 1970's. He and his wife had one child, a daughter Ruby Alice Henry in 1930. Ruby married Donald Dempsy Applegate and they had a daughter of their own, Linda Applegate in 1952. Ruby lost her husband but remarried and had two sons Thomas Ferry and Jerry Ferry. Linda married and had two daughters Wendi Allen and Kristi Allen. Ruby lived on the ranch for most of her life until her death in 1998. |
