my great-great-grandfather, Thomas Bassett who moved to Manitoba from Ontario somewhere around 1929. He had three children: William, Richard (1855) and Laura (1863). Richard was born in Huntsville, Muskoka. He married Lillian Adriana Lyman in Florida in 1890 and then moved to Gilbert Plains, MB where they took up farming. Laura moved there too. Bob and Debbie's Family Tree
Martin Mellinger returned to Liditz, PA in 1863 after his medical discharge from the Army in Ohio. By 1865 Martin is in Stephenson Co, Illinois and marries Anna Sellers, also of PA. They have three daughter together, Mary, Sarah, and Emma Elizabeth. Emma and Sarah list Princeton Indiana as their place of birth. Sometime after Emma's birth in 1873, Martin and Anna divorced. He married a Frances Bowman in PAor Hocking County, Ohio,OH, My line comes from son Jeremiah born Hocking County, Ohio 23 Sept. 1806 and He married a Mary Miller in Ohio. She was also born in Ohio. Six of their 7 children born here. Robertson in Dooley County, Georgia, GAFurby in Norwood, Wright County,Missouri MO 1886-1896 then Cyrus (my line) ended up in Calif (1920 census) after spending some time in Utah.Conrow in McDonald,Newton, and Wright Counties Missouri.They were in Iowa befor that.Silas Conrow was from Ireland. He came over with 2 brothers. He lost contact with them after he went west from Ohio and they went north.Carpenter Rufus was born in the state of New York, NY, and moved to Jennings County Indiana. In the late 1870's moved to Dickinson County, Kansas, KS. Kidd In Wright County, Missouri 1910 and 1920Strolh went back as far as PA, ILL, Iowa and NebraskaTatman were in Illinois, IL and Iowa, IA Matilida and Malinda married Strohl's that were brothers. |
