(we\re not quite sure about the name but John's daughter always talked about a Torkel) married a Karen Jansen(so the story goes) and they had a son, John Aanensen, born 1851- 1852 in Oslo (according to his New Zealand naturalization papers). They also had a daughter Ingeborg and another son Olaf.\r\nBetween 1870 - 1880 John(Jan)left Norway for New Zealand. We have a photo of Terkelsen(Torkelsen) with Grimstad and the Photographer's name E.Helmer written on it.\r\nAny information would be much appreciated. \r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n |
