My Great-great-grandfather was David who married Catherine Bell. They homesteaded in Greene County, MO about 1833. My great-grandfather was John Quincy Appleby who was born in Tennesse. He married twice and I am from the second marriage to Sarah Jane Wade. My grandfather Addison was born in Arkansas. John and family moved to Chautauqua County, KS in 1873. Addison married Joanna Ross and my father was one of four childrn to that marriage.
