Samuel TRUSCOTT - b.1606 Samuel RAIL - b. 1782 Robert BALL - b. 1771 George Lewis Truscott and his wife Hannah Hendy Rail and their family came to Canada as Barr Colonists in 1903. my grandfather William Ball b.July 15, 1835 in Paris, Ont. He married Mary Ann Midgley b.July 6, 1846 in Paris. Both lived in or near Paris, Ontario. She died March 24, 1882. He died December 25, 1912 in Chatham, Ont. His father was Henry Ball - wife Elizabeth Small. I have traced them to Lambourne Berkshire England. His father was Robert, mother Sarah. The Jarcho-Yarcha-Turoff-Turow-Bermant families from Slutsk
The origins of this family start in Ancient Judea and stretch to Medieval Spain and Southern France and the town of Lunel where the Ha-Yarchi families lived until late 1300's- early 1400's. The family then moved North and East into the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in what became the province of Minsk Gubernia in present day Belarus. The tows of Baranovitch, Slutsk ,Turov and Kletsk and the surrounding towns were where they lived during the 1700's and 1800's. The earliest named ancestor was Zimel Yarcha(1750-1800). His descendents spread to other areas of Russia such as Pinsk, Minsk, Yekatrinoslav and Yousovka before leaving for Israel,England,Belgium,Argentina and most to the USA. Jacob Babb & John Johnson Families of Portland, Oregon
The John Johnson family from Copenhagen, Denmark I believe that they came to this county around 1883 thorugh the Southern ports, it could be New Oleans and settled first in Council Grove, Kansas then moved to Bloomer, Wisconsin. The William P. Wilson family of Cedar Falls, Iowa. The family came to Genesee, Idaho by covered Wagon around 1890's. The Nicholas Amos George family of Fouches, Belgum. They came to this country and settled in Ossage Mission, Kansas. From there the went to Spokane, Washington and then on to Killam, Alberta, Canada. This is where the part Family is still farming today. I do not know much about Albertina Emelie Iverson my Grandmother. She came to this country from Narvik, Norway and settled in Colfax, Wisconsin. Her mother was Beritt Nikolina Andersdatter born 1864 Norway and died 1946 North Dokata. |

Eric Avebury
Richard Lubbock emigrated from Norfolk to Augusta Georgia with the rest of the family. He married Diana Sophia SANDWICH and their eldest son was named Henry Thomas Willis LUBBOCK born 24 July 1792 Augusta. The Rev Henry WILLIS married Jane LUBBOCK September 1, 1765. Their daughters Temperance Jane WILLIS and Ann Packer WILLIS emigrated to Augusta, and when Ann Packer WILLIS died in 1808 she appointed Diana Sophia SANDWICH as her executor, describing Diana as her sister, and Richard LUBBOCK as her brother. Jane LUBBOCK was born February 17, 1743. |
