Origin: My Gt,Gt, Gt. Grandfather was called John Warriner of Oldham, Lancashire, England. He was born about 1790. THe name changed about 1830 to Warrenner my mothers maiden name. Warrenner comes De Warrnnee a Norman name for the keeper of the Kings or Lords warren ie rabbit pr wild boar warren/wood.

Origin: From Brechenmacher's Etymologisches Woerterbuch de Deutschen Familiennamen: Meinert, Also spelled Meinhar(d)t started out as a first name. Earliest recording as a surname was in 1325 in the churchbook in Osthafen (Rheinhessen). The Latin entry read: Meinhertin (the 'in' ending was because it was a woman's surname. Her husband or father would have been Meinhert).
