The TAYLOR line married into the WILLIAMS line of Quakers who descend from the first William son of Edward, a founder of the Thomas-Jones Colony in Merion Meetinghouse, on the Schulkill River at what became Philadelphia, 1682-present). William COTTER married Eliza FOWLER in New York City, after coming from Cork, Ireland c. 1845. Only son known at present is James Francis COTTER, 1848-1929 who lived in Bethel, CT. There was a Peter Irion married to Melinda White living in the same area, don\t know if there is a connection or not. The Aaron's spread out to Patrick County, VA, Amelia County, VA and parts of NC. My grandfather Meggs Aaron married Mary Augusta Lovill.\r\n\r\nLOVILL (lovell)\r\n\r\nThe earliest information on the Lovill family I have is John Robert (Monk) Lovill born 1852 in Stokes County, NC.\r\n\r\nPERKINSON\r\nThe earliest informatiton on the Perkinson family I have is James M. Perkinson married to Prudence V. Spain as it appears on the marriage license of my grandfather Nathaniel P. Perkinson. Nathaniel was born 1858 in Dinwiddie County, VA. He was married to Lillian S. Hudgins.\r\n\r\nHUDGINS\r\nThe earliest information the Hudgins family I have is Richard R. Hudgins, have no birth date. Only record I have is his Civil War record. He enlisted in Pertersburg, VA March 6, 1862. He was wounded at the battle of Gettysburg, discharged April 6, 1865.\r\n\r\n |
