Ken Hess
Description: I am looking for Thomas King who immigrated to the US in the 1700's. There actually were several and it seems that most of them were Bonded Passengers, which as I understand it meant someone in the US had paid their way and they had to work as a servant to pay them off. I also found several of the Thomas's that ran off from their masters, so maybe that is why they are so hard to find. They were staying out of sight.

My connection is my gggrandfather Shadrack King born in MD abt 1780 but I can't find for sure his parentage. He had a brother named Meshack, born just before or after Shadrack. They were in VA(WVA) in 1800, PA in 1810 and Monroe Co, OH in 1820, but no connections to the past.
