He was a toolmaker and died December 13, 1929 in the Bronx, NYC. He married Wilhelmina Magdalena Schmidt, born in NYC November 16, 1863 and died December 04, 1918 in NYC George Schmidt (great grandfather) had a bakery at 831 1st Ave in NYC He was born Nov. 27, 1838 in Germany and died May 2, 1906. He immigrated about 1869 and was married to Friederika Rauenbuhler, born in Rauenberg, Wiesloch, Baden, Germany, March 05, 1828. They were married in Germany and she immirgated from Germany to NYC with six of their children in 1873. She died in NYC March 14, 1908.
