The Allen's go back to Massachucetts (Ephraim) to Alabama (William Brown, Joseph Negos,George Cochran) and into Texas (Thomas Harold 'Stump'). John Scott Rew came from Stirling, Scotland and that his wife Catherine Wallace came from Sligo, Ireland. (her mother's name may have been Warren). The first account I have of them are in St. Louis, Missouri.
