FETHEROLF family descended from Johanna Peter FEDEROLF, Sr. and Anna Marie ROTHERMEL. They sailed from Germany to American on THE THISTLE in 1730 and settled in Berks County, Pennsylvania. My paternal grandparents are Grover Cleveland FETHEROLF (1883-1962), the son of Daniel FETHEROLF and Mary THOMPSON, and Anna Idell REEVES (1888-1983). They lived in Ohio and Illinois. |

Cirencester. Later travels in time brought me to the Pinwills of Ermington, Devonshire, including The Reverend Edmund Pinwill and his seven highly talented daughters who set up their own carving business. Their ancesters included the Rashleighs of Menabilly, Cornwall including Jonathan Rashleigh of Civil War fame, made famous by Daphne Du Maurier's novel The King's General.
