DAVE: Isaac BALLENGEE, I seems to be the patriarch of the BALLENGEE families of VA/WV. Isaac's children (there were 7). Henry (1778), George (1779) (my 3G grandfather), Isaac, II (1781), Florence(1784), Jane(1785-86), Susanna(1788), Elizabeth (1789). DAVE: Isaac BALLENGEE, I seems to be the patriarch of the BALLENGEE families of VA/WV. I am looking for any information about Isaac's children (there were 7). Henry (1778), George (1779) (my 3G grandfather), Isaac, II (1781), Florence(1784), Jane(1785-86), Susanna(1788), Elizabeth (1789).ANNE: I am trying to locate information regarding my father's side of the family. What little information that I have follows: My Great-Grandfather was Anthony B. ACHEY and he was married to Nora GASSET. My Grandfather, Paul Rufus ACHEY, was one of 11 children and was born in Myerstown, PA on June 15, 1902. Other children's names are: Henry, Kathryn, Edith, Herman, Levi, Sarah, Raymond, Adeline. My grandfather moved to Davenport, Iowa where he married Hilda NISSEN. Bruce Adriance of Delanson, New York
Adriance Family of Upstate New York. The Adriance Family was founded in the colony of the New Netherlands by Adrian Reyerse Adriance, who came to Flatbush, Long Island from Holland in 1646. He married Annetje Schenck on July 29, 1659. He was an elder of the church and baptismal records show that they had 13 children before he died on November 24, 1710. His son Elbert later married Catalynie Remsen Vander Beeck on April 18, 1698. Elbert had a son, Rem. Rem married Sarah Brinckerhoff of Flushing.\r\nRem and Sarah had 7 children (including one named Rem), among them was Joris, born on 18 November, 1716. He married Phoebe Van Wych in 1741. Together, they also had seven children (one of which was named Rem)including George Adriance. George married Elizabeth Gosselin in Berne, New York. They had eight children, one of which was named Sarah and another named James. James Adriance was born on Christmas Day, 1792 in Dutchess County. At age 26, he married Ruth Blakeman.\r\nJames and Ruth had eight children. One of them was named Sarah. They named one of their sons Thomas Jefferson Adriance.
