The Samuel Bruce Clemons of Wytheville, Va.
Samuel Bruce Clemons was my mother's father. I'm not sure where he was born. Maybe Foster Falls VA., or somewhere around that area. His father's name was Martin Clemons and, his mother was Eugenia Melton. They are both buried in Foster Falls Cemetery. I found Martin as a child in the 1880 census records. My father's lines primarily came to Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland. They migrated through Virginia, North Carolina and finally settled in Northern Georgia. My mother's lines settled in Virginia on the Eastern Shore. Some migrated further in to Virginia, settling in Charlotte and Pittsylvania Counties.
