My Grandfather Willis Henry Baldwin and his cousin Beatrice Baldwin Carr. George Baldwin Sr. his christening on March 29, 1624 in Great Missenden Parish, Buckinghamshire, England. He married Abigail Sweet ( probably from Warwick, R.I.). They divorced at New Amsterdam, Jan. 1656. He later Married Mary Demison (Dennison) Emery (Embree) of Stamford, Ct. They lived at various places on Long Island, including Gravesend, Baldwin's Neck, Southhampton, Huntington and Hempstead. Most of the family appears to have settled early in New York.
