My Grandfather Willis Henry Baldwin and his cousin Beatrice Baldwin Carr. George Baldwin Sr. his christening on March 29, 1624 in Great Missenden Parish, Buckinghamshire, England. He married Abigail Sweet ( probably from Warwick, R.I.). They divorced at New Amsterdam, Jan. 1656. He later Married Mary Demison (Dennison) Emery (Embree) of Stamford, Ct. They lived at various places on Long Island, including Gravesend, Baldwin's Neck, Southhampton, Huntington and Hempstead. Most of the family appears to have settled early in New York. AKINS and TUCK families of Loudon County, Tennessee and surrounding areas. Charles Anderson AKINS was born in 1864. He married Margrett HICKS, and they had three daughters: Ann, Marie and America. Their sons were William?, John, Charles, Arthur, Fred and Joe. My grandfather, Arthur AKINS, married Laura Belle HEMBREE of Scott County, Tennessee. My father married Nora Irene TUCK. Tobais TUCK was born on December 9, 1847, and married Sarah Ann BRIGHT on December 17, 1871. They had three children: Mary Elizabeth, John Peterson and James Alexander. John is my great-grandfather and he married Lillie B. COOK. They had a son, Avery J., who was buried in Oklahoma in 1907.
