John Kochelek married Mary Komienga (Kuminga) born in June 1854 in Krakow, Galacia, Poland. They were married Nov 15, 1875 in Krakow, Poland. My Grandfather, John Zych/Zach died in Chicago, Illinois in 1938. John Andersen. He married Catherine Zalud. Johns' ancestors came from a town or village 20km from Copenhagen, Denmark. I was told he was one of 4 nrothers who emigrated. They changed their names to see who would find the family fortune. The original name was Jurgesen. Two brothers settled in Chicago, where they were blacksmiths. One went out West to possibly Arizona, where he worked on or owned a ranch. The fourth brother went to Australia Catherine Zalud. She had two sisters, Mary and Josephine. When my Grandfather John Andersen passed away she married a Mr. Likey of Chicago.
