Description: I am in Salem, Oregon. I am researching my linage of Powell. My father was J.D. Powell. His mother is Theodosha Pruitt Powell as far as I know. I do not know her husband's name, my father's father. I hear she is Cherokee and bought burial land in Bokchita, Oklahoma. There is many Powell's buried there already.
