Her parents were Henry and Elizabetha Freter.or Froeter. Wm. H. Bammel's Brother Christoph (Christopher) Bammel came to Texas in 1866 and his wife Dorothea. Jonathon J. Taylor b. September 17, 1857 in Musket Point, Jefferson County., Texas (he had sisters Margaret Maggie and Mary Mollie born in Taylor County, Texas) and died February 25, 1917 in Houston, Texas and his wife Mary Mathilda Tinnan (Butler) and his second wife Anna Pauline Woynofsky. Wm. Henry Fischer b. July 4, 1871 in Zurach Canton Aragon, Switzerland and died Sept. 15, 1915 in Houston, Texas & his wife Emilie Cugande Schumacher b. April 14, 1872 in Sedalia, Missouri and died August 24, 1962 in Houston, Texas. Jacob Hill Jamison born February 11, 1847 in Pennsylvania and who resided in and died in 1899 in Blairsville, Pennsylvania and his wife Margaret Jane Clawson born September 3, 1863 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania and who died January 6, 1906 in Blairsville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. Jacob Baker born Dec. 1822 and his wife Leah Fink born Nov. 16, 1826. Thomas Joseph Donahoo and his wife Nancy Jane Hanks who died in 1907. Matthew McClain b. May 20, 1822 in Lewis County, Tenn and on August 7, 1851 married Elsie Alice (Alsey) Hufstedler b. Nov. 27, 1832 in Perry County, Tenn. Alfredo Freeland born Nov. 28, 1848 in Carroll County, Buena Vista, Tennessee, and died Feb. 12, 1958 in Lamar County, Texas buried in Paris, Texas. |

the HIGGINS family from Youngstown, Mahoning County, Ohio. Edward James HIGGINS was born in 1890 and was married to Helen Anastacia HALLORAN. They had several children, one of which was my father, Thomas Edward Higgins. Edward's parents were James HIGGINS and Sarah RYAN. They had other children, as well. Helen's parents were Patrick HALLORAN and Margaret JENNINGS. Patrick and Margaret had the following children: Eugene P., Mary, Blanche, Margaret, James E., Helen Nell, and Ann. the HINZ family of Chicago, Illinois. Herbert HINZ was married to Rose Marie TRINKO. Herb's parents were Paul HINZ and Clara KLEIN. Clara was born in Berlin. Rose's father was Joseph TRINKO. Joseph was born in Austria on February 28, 1887. Rose's mother Anna CERNY was born in Chicago on February 21, 1888. Joseph's mother's maiden name was SWEDLER. Anna's mother was Marie BOUSKA. She was born in Jetetich, Bohemia on February 2, 1868. I just found out that Marie's parents were Josef Bouska, Born in Volesna, Bohemia, and Marie Kotrba, born in Jetetich, Bohemia. |

The Svendsen / Burringtons of Green County Wisconsin
My grandfather, Peder Johannes (John Peter) Svendsen immigrated in 1914 on the SS United States (not the famous liner but the old steamer). He was born in a house called Sejehuset in a small village called Slaglille in Alsted, Sor? amt in 1892. His mother's family had lived in the house for generations. I have traced his father's family (Jacob Conrad Svendsen) back to Holsteinborg on the southern coast of Sealand not too far from Slaglille still in Sor? amt. Jacob Conrad was born in F?rslev in 1824 to Jacob Peter Svendsen and Sophie Charlotte Husum. Sophie's parents were Andreas Husum and Birgette M?ller of Holsteinborg.
