My mother was Adeline Theresa Heard, born November 8, 1902 in Pitkin, Louisiana to Clora Frances and James Addison Heard. She died November 26, 1995. My father was Robert (Bob) James Allardyce, born January 31, 1909 in DeRidder, Louisiana, to Josie Vivian and John Davis Allardyce. He died January 19, 1958. The following are related family names: Nolan (my mother's mother's maiden name), Lindsay (my mother's father's mother's maiden name. Trotti (my father's mother's maiden name). My grandmother was a Trotti, her mother was a Gilbert and her mother was a Brailsford from Charleston County, South Carolina. On my grandfather's side: his mother was a Hines and his father's mother was a Bentinik from Galveston, Texas. My Allardyce and Heard family names have been traced back to 1100 a.d. and 1300 a.d., respectively. |
