Robert ALLAN, Born 1834 at Yetholm, Scotland Died September 13, 1903 at Donald. Buried at North Laen Cemetery.\r\nJane LIDDLE, Born 1838 at Coldstream, Scotland.\r\nDied October 12, 1913 at Donald. Buried at North Laen Cemetery.\r\nRobert & Jane were MARRIED May 23, 1861 at Ballarat.\r\nWe think that Robert ALLAN came to Australia on the Ship ' Red Jacket ' which left Liverpool on July 18, 1858 and arrived at Port Phillip on October 19, 1858.\r\nJane LIDDLE came to Australia on the ship ' Jessie Nunn', arriving at Port Phillip in February 1859. \r\nAt the time of their marriage Robert was living at Learmonth where he worked as a Saddler and Jane was residing in Ballarat and working as a servant.(As per their marriage certificate.)\r\nRobert and Jane lived at Learmonth after their marriage where Robert continued to work as a saddler and the following children were born : -\r\nMARGARET ALLAN Born 1862.\r\nJANE ALLAN Born 1864 Died 1865 at Learmonth.\r\nMARY GRACE ALLAN Born 1867 Died 1867 at Learmonth.\r\nJOHN SCOTT ALLAN Born 1869.
