The Annotico Family
The ANNOTICO Family in the US, started with Giuseppe Annotico, born February 4,1882 in Ficarra, Messina, Sicily. Felicia Dabenne was born on September 22, 1889 in Sant'Agata Militello, Messina, Sicily. Giuseppe married Felicia on December 11, 1904 in Sant'Agata Militello. Giuseppe's and Felica's first child Maria born in 1905, died in 1906, at the age of 8-9 months. Giuseppe boarded the SS Napolitan Prince in Palermo and landed in New York on July 15, 1906, from whence he proceeded immediately to Cleveland, Ohio where a relative of his wife (Vitanza)was already situated. Giuseppe's wife Felicia followed him 8 months later and landed in NY on March 24 ,1907,and proceded to Cleveland. Tony, the next of nine other children was born to Felicia and Giuseppe on April 7 1908. Joseph (May 9, 1911), Concetta/Jenny (July 2,1914), Vincenzo (July 12, 1917), Mary (Setember 26, 1921), Salvatore/Sammy (November 11, 1924), Rose (January 8, 1927),Grace (July 23, 1930), Ronald (June 6, 1934).All 10 children were born in 3-4 year intervals.
