The Van Giesen's of Pennsylvania
I have been able to trace my Van Giesen's to the Netherland's and Germany.\r\nAs it turns out this was there homeland.I have found a Shipbuilding company in Holland which carries the name of my forefathers Van der Giesen de Noord Shipbuilder's.this company was established in the early 1800's and since then has been very successful,exciting!\r\nMy Van Giesen's came to America in the 1600's to then Amsterdam which was a Dutch colony.\r\nI am currently working on my maternal line which includes the Artzberger surname also of german descent.\r\nI also hope to find my chaffin and Glenn line.\r\nThis is exciting because I have found relatives that I would not have known otherwise.Van Giesen's in Missouri,Texas,Nevada etc.\r\n\r\nFamily tree for Kimberly Adams(Van Giesen) 1 |
