Description: I have been searching mostly for ancestors in Germany. A special interest has been the ancestors of Franz Joseph Wacker b 12 February 1826 in Westphalia, Germany.

Surnames: G?rge, Schafer, Thelen, Wacker, Theis, Martin, Schlicht, Hufnagel, Mueller, Kolp, Bengel, Vidua, Firmenich among others.

Description: I am seeking the following; Rech, Wagner families who were from the Pfalz regions of Germany, as well as those same families who left Germany abt. 1720 and went eastward into Galica ( present day Ukraine ) for freedom of religion and land of opportunities. Along with the Rech and Wagner families were the Schaefer families who settled near Lemberg ( now Lviv )
in a community known as Schonthal where abt. sixteen families would call it home until very early 1900's. Families were Lutheran, blacksmiths, ministers in the church, school teachers, etc. Schonthal was about ten miles northwest of Lemberg ( Lviv ) and became a jewish centre abt. 1920's. Today, it is farm land.
