Golden and Scallan Families of Louisiana
This is a family effort to discover the wonderful families related to PARREN C. GOLDEN and BENNIE WILLIAMS formerly of Chestnut, La. Parren was just one of eleven children born to JOHN MARION GOLDEN and SARAH COMILLA GOLDEN. Our Goldens arrived in Louisiana by way of Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia. Bennie Williams was one of nine children born to Richard Lee Williams and Hulda Morgan. Hopefully you will see this page grow in details about our grandparents who have long passed on but whose memory is always with us. Research is also underway for the families of our paternal grandparents FERDINAND SCALLAN and EUGENIE DUCOTE of Mansura, La. Thirteen children were born to this marriage with so little known about the daughters. |
