The paternal side of my family began migrating to the USA in the 30's and the maternal side in the early 60's. the Avilas originated from Mr. Simeon Avila who was originally from Livingston, Guatemala spreading his roots throuhgout the states of Cortes, Atlantida, Roatan and Colon. My father (Francisco Avila Mena)side are the Avilas which originated in Punta Gorda, Roatan. From the materanal side(Felipa Lopez Green), the Green and Collins branch originated from The Grand Cayman Island, via French Harbour, Roatan Where my mothers roots begin.
