Description: Looking for any information on relatives/siblings/ancestors of Alfred BARBOZA. He was born abt. 1872 on the island of Brava, CVI. Parents were Joseph BARBOZA and Julia CASTELLA. Name of other siblings or village on Brava not known. Emigrated to MA abt 1903, ship not known. Settled in the Fall River/New Bedford area. 1st son, John, nmi, was born in RI in 1908. Following 3 children were born, supposedly in Fall River (they have no record). They were Antone, Julia and Lydia. Alfred's wife was Ermalinda CABRAL. They moved to Cape Cod around 1921 and their last child, Joseph was born. He died in WWII. He had only been ma for a short time there were no children.
