The Lukaszewski/Lucas/Zanowski Family Home Page
origins are PRUSSIA, POLAND, and ATHENS, GREECE. All of them settled in MILWAUKEE between 1870 and 1910. Vincent Lukaszewski married Konstancja Bochinska in the 1880?s They gave birth to Stasilavam (Stella b: Dec 1886) Lukaszewska and was one of ten children. Stella married Bronislaum (Barney) Zanowski in 1913. They had three children, Raymond, Ervin, and Edwin (aka Greg Zaner b: Jun 1921). Edwin was my father. In the 1880?s Peter Paul Brzezinski married Jozefa Polak. They had eight children. Six of their children remained in Warsaw, Poland when they immigrated. Two of their chidren were born in the US: Paul and Agnes Agatha, my grandmother. She was baptized (1898) as Angieska Brzezinska . John Archibald Terris came from Athens to Milwaukee in 1905 with three of his brothers: Tom, Jim and Harry (Robert). The last brother, August, remained with his parents: John George Tirintzi and Mary Kallas. Agnes married John in 1917, giving birth to two daughters, Marion Josephine(1917) and Georgian Harriet(1922). Georgian is my mother. |

Meet the Bochnovich Family Lines
The oldest identified member of our direct ancestors of the BOCHNOVICH family are Bartholomew BOCHNOVICH and one of his three wives: Anastasia. It is estimated that they were born in the 1840's. Bartholomew owned most of Stawisza and was considered wealthy. Both Bartholomew and Anastasia had died by 1887, leaving their children as orphans. |
