BENNETT, HEATH, CREAGOR/KRUGER (England/Germany/Holland PA OH IA WY) McCALIP/McCALEB (TN AR OK)- Especially the line of Hansel and Louisa, who settled in Scott Co., Arkansas. I would be overjoyed to find the illusive son, William, who fled, leaving wife Polly with three children (@ 1882?) What happened to the remaining family? LONG, PRICE (AR OK) - Married McCaleb women. WILLIAMS, HANBY (MO AR OK) Their daughter Ollie Arzella Williams married John Wesley McCalip in 1905. WALTER (MO AR OK) Polly Ann Walter who married William McCalip as a teenager. There are rumors that she was part Indian. Was this her real name? BLANKENSHIP (IL AR OK) Polly remarried to a Gilbert Blankenship (Mid-1880s), and her daughter Elizabeth (Lizzie) also married a Blankenship although briefly. DEAN (AR OK) Elizabeth (Lizzie) married Tom Dean @ 1900 in Locust Grove, OK and bore Martha and Joe. (1903 & 1908) |

Kreilaus branch originated in Gehrden, Germany. Aust branch was from Germany also, unk what area. Reids were from Richmond VA, Hogen originated in Holland. Blankenship may have come from Canada. Nances were in the Carolinas. Some of the Aust elders were born in Montana. |

My great grandfather William (B. or J.)Blankenship b. April, 1876 in MO. Full blood Cherokee Indian, d.August 20,1932 in Bradley, AR. He married Rosa Etta Franks, Blankenship b. May 17,1880 in AR d.December 12,1942 in Shreveport, LA. Rosa's parents were William Franks and Elizabeth Sylvester. William and Rosa lived in Bowie co. TX in 1900 and 1910 they had 12 to 14 children some died from 1900 to 1910. My grand father Earl Columbus McConnell. his fathers name David McConnell he died when Earl was 3 years old, he had several wives, Earl's mother Nancy Humes. they lived in AR. My Step father's family surname is Hearrell. Hearrell's from Obed Hearrell, from Sulpher, Oklahoma. Also Lee is my step dad's mother's madien name. My father is Cleve Stafford and I am tracing his mother's family Juanita Hampton, b. January 3,1907 in AR, and d. July 28,1979 in Holdenville, OK. Her parents were Indian, her father Charles Henry Hampton born April 17, 1869 in AR and died April 19, 1942 in Holdenville, OK. He was Cherokee and 1/4 Choctaw. Her mother Mary Elizabeth Knox born in 1868 she was full Blood Cherokee Indian. Charles owned land in Carroll Co. and Benton Co. AR in 1902. |
