BOLOMEY family from Switzerland. Valentin Bolomey was born in Canton de Vaud, Switzerland, February 13, 1826. He settled in Virginia where he married Martha Ann Adams. He later moved to Missouri and died April 7, 1906, in Louisiana, Missouri. HOLLIDAY family. James Holliday was married to Mary Cornell Holliday and lived at Louisiana, Missouri. There were six children: Ernest, Ruben, Alice, Anna, Francis Marion and Odie. James Holliday may have been from Virginia or Kentucky or possibly Tennessee. Francis Marion Holliday was born March 18, 1866. ancestors of JOSEPH WARREN BEAL, born in Tyler, Texas, June 15, 1861, and married to Esther Walling. The grandson of Ninian Beall, Alexander Beall, lived and died in and around Fredrick County, Maryland.Some of my research, (Maryland Registry of Hearldic Families) stated that Alexander is credited for founding the Presbytrian Church in the U.S. My immediate family has been located in North Texas for the past 100 years. |

She got a general reprieve on July 22, 1693. *Mayflower lines of William Brewster (3 lines), George Soule, and James Chilton. I have a pending line through Stephen Hopkins that I am currently researching: *Researching Ford, Goodyear/Gudger, Pike, Sweetland, Combdon, Locke families from Newfoundland: 1700's - 1800's Waston family of South Carolina: 1800's *I have the following Revolutionary War ancestors approved by the Sons of the American Revolution: 1. Jonathan Beale, Sr. was my first approved line for the Sons of the American Revolution. He was a seaman on the Brigantine Freedom and Brigantine Tyrannicide in the MA Navy. He was taken prisoner when the Freedom was captured. He was probably on the prison ships in New York. He was released in prisoner swap six months later. Probably buried at a Monmouth area Cemetery, Monmouth, ME. SAR Supplemental Lines: 2. Stephen Doughty, A Private in Captain William Lithgow, Jr's (Seacoast) co.; service from Aug. 31, 1776 to Nov 23, 1776, 2 mos. 23 days; company stationed at Falmouth, Cumberland Co. (Maine) Roll endorsed ?Col. Mitchel?s regt.? He is buried in a small private cemetery in Topsham, ME. 3. Tobias Lord, Sr. An officer in the militia. The rank of Lieutenant in 1775 in a York County militia. The rank of Captain in 1776 where he served at the SeaCoast Defense at Falmouth Neck (Casco Bay), Maine. He is buried at the Thompson Cemetery, Arundel, ME. 4. Tobias Lord, Jr. A 2nd Lieutenant in the York County militia. He was part of the militia sent to reinforce the Northern Army in August 1777. He was at the surrender of General Borgoyne at Saratoga, NY in October 1777. He is buried at Hope Cemetery, Kennebunk, ME. 5. Josiah Newell, Sr. Public Service: Justice of the Peace. He swore in the local militia, muster rolls and pay rolls for the local militia. Josiah also served as moderator of town meetings during the war. He is buried at the Needham Cemetery, Needham, MA. 6. Josiah Newell, Jr. A minuteman at Lexington and Concord alarm from Needham. Public Service to help provide for families whose men were in the Continental Army. He is buried at the Needham Cemetery, Needham MA. Both Jr. and Sr. are buried about 6 yards apart. 7. David Ellis, A minuteman at Lexington and Concord alarm from Dedham. He is buried at Old Cemetery, Westwood, MA. 8. Joseph Drinkwater, A Private in Capt. George Roger's Co.; service 4 days; company detached from 2d Cumberland Co. regt. by order of Col. Jonathan Mitchel to work on the fort at Falmouth (ME)in Nov., 1775. 9. Daniel Drinkwater, A Private in the North Yarmouth Company that was sent to New York. A seaman in the State Navy that sailed to Bermuda and was in the Naval battle in the Penobscot Expedition (Maine) in 1779. 10. James Ames - Oakham, MA 11. Samuel Fisher - North Yarmouth, ME 12.
