I have been actively researching my genealogy since 1997, and I still have much to learn. My mother's side of the family is largely from Chicago, Illinois, and my father's side of the family is from the town of Hamlin in Monroe County, New York. Most of my ancestors originated from Germany, over a hundred years ago. |
