Carlos Guillermo Stiefel, born in Pforzhm, Wutemberg, Germany on February 16, 1840. He emigrated to Argentina, Santa Fe, around 1860 with a group of colonizers. He married Bertha Angelica Tschuy, from Buren, Solothurn, Switzerland. They had eight children: Carlos Henry, Emilia, Federico, Ema, Adela, Ricardo, Guillermo, and Ulrico. In 1898, after his wife death, Carlos Guillermo returned to Germany where he married again and had children. |
