Mayberry Family
I am especially interested in locating date and place of burial of my ggrandpa Francis aka Frank Mayberry. Probably died after 1872 (youngest dau born 1872)and prior to 1878 since my ggrandma Mary E. Early Mayberry married a D. N. McGill on Dec 18, 1878 in Harrisonville, Cass Co., Missouri.``Also, need info on his two brothers named Thomas age 19 and Peter age 16 on the 1850 Census of Hampshire Co., Va(WV). I would appreciate any help on locating the above info on these three individuals. The sons may have died during the Civil War. I have found no info on them being either in the Union or CSA. Their two sisters Mary and Sarah A. Mayberry were found at Lexington, MO. Mary m. Cpt Abraham Smith. Sarah m. 1/lt (Physician) James Newton Moorehead. Both killed in Civil War and both were in same unit, Co I, 13th Virginia Infantry Regt. A historical unit during the Civil War in Northern Virginia. Please contact me by email on any discrepancies or additional information. |
