The James Edmond Bath Family Home Page
It was my great grandfather, William, that brought the family tree to the States, in 1857 to Pittston, PA where he worked as a miner for 3 years to earn money for an oxen journey to Utah. He crossed the plains as a member of John Smith's company, arriving at Salt Lake City, in 1860. A true pioneer was he; married twice and fathered 15 children. Alfred, my grandfather, married Margaret Thomas Averett in SLC in 1912 and moved the tree to Anahiem, CA soon thereafter. |
