Shadrack was married to Jane Burwell around 1701 and they had seven sons. Jane Burwell's father was Lewis Burwell of Carter's Grove just outside of Williamsburg, VA. John Atkinson and his son, Nathan (2), fought in the Revolutionary War in the 3rd Va. Reg. Nathan was the first Atkinson to move to Camden County, Georgia. He was later followed by his father, John. |
