Benjamin CUTBIRTH, Sr was first known to be in Virginia (possibly Augusta County). He was born about 1740, PA or VA. His father died young and his mother remarried. Benjamin went to North Carolina as a young man, and there married Elizabeth WILCOXSON, niece of Daniel BOONE. Had children: Daniel Boone, Benjamin, Jr., Mary and Sarah. Jesse SCOTT of Bedford County, TN, born ca. 1786, SC. Father is known to be Jordan SCOTT. Jordan reportedly went to Alabama where he lived the remainder of his days. Jesse married (1st) Jennie DIAL who died in 1828, (2nd) Susan TUCKER, and (3rd) Nancy AUSTIN. Earliest known ARNETT ancestor is Alexander ARNET(T)of Loudon Co., VA. William ARDREY (ARDERY) was born in Penn. in 1810. He married Lucinda LASHBROOK in Scott County, Indiana on November 10, 1831 and died near Center, Missouri (Ralls County) on April 19, 1882. His wife Lucinda was born in Spencer County, Kentucky on October 23, 1814 and died near Center, Missouri (Ralls County) on November 1, 1876. They had (I think) eleven children: Alexander, John, Robert, Andrew, James, William, Gideon, Mary, Samuel, George and Thomas. The children are listed in the 1850 Missouri Census and in a couple of county census'. |
