The 1820 census listed Jacob as having 5 boys and 3 girls. One of the boys JAMES HARVEY AMONETTE, my great great grandfather, married Cintha Dedmon. When James died, Jacob remained living with Cintha until he died at age 90 (1850 census). They lived in Smith, Dekalb and Putnam counties in TN.
