Alexander Miller was installed as the first regular pastor of Cooks Creek(near Dayton, Va.) and Peaked Mountain, August 1,1757. \r\nHenry Pryor Martin family settled in Minnapolis Minn. area in the late 1800's. Henry was married to Emily Johnston or Johnstone On Dec.1st, about 1901. They had eight sons. One died shortly after birth. Six settled in Cedar Rapids Iowa. One settled in the state of Washington.\r\ntwo Albin brothers came to the U.S. around 1776. |
