My name is Louis Francis Albanese.I was born October 19,1955 in Welland,Ontario,Canada to Angelo Louis Albanese and Violet Lois MacDonald Albanese.I am a dental surgeon,and live in Fonthill,Ontario. My grandfather Michael Louis Albanese came to Welland,Ontario,Canada from San Giorgio Morgeto,Italy via Ellis Island,New York somewhere around 1910.He went back to see action with the Italian armed forces during the 1914-1918 war(after attempting to enlist with the Canadian Armed Forces),and was wounded at the battle of Caporetto(immediately following the ELEVENTH Battle of the Isonzo).His brother Angelo Albanese was also present at the action at Caporetto.After the war he returned to Welland,Ontario,where he lived with my grandmother Angelina Albanese(nee Bombino) until his death in 1991.They had three children:George Albanese(living)\r\nDomenic Albanese(living)\r\nand my father Dr.Angelo Louis Albanese (deceased August 21,1991)\r\n\r\nMy mothers maiden name is MacDonald. She was born and raised in Plymouth,Pictou County,Nova Scotia Canada.Her father(my grandfather)was Joseph Hugh MacDonald born August 8,1882 in Bridgeville,Pictou County ,Nova Scotia,and her mother Violet Annie Vacheresse White MacDonald born March 26,1898 Plymouth,Pictou CLouis Francis Albanese |
