The McLachlan line comes from Archibald McLachlan of Nova Scotia, born in 1847, immigrated to the USA moving into Colorado, city of Craig in 1869. His parents were both born in Scotland. The Schwarz Family is from Britten, Merzig, Prussia. My Grand-Father: Tennix LaFayette Williams--born in Mt. Grove, Mo. 1 March 1907 and died on 1 June 1972. His father was William Alexander Williams--born Springfield, Missouri, 12 July 1882. He was Master of the Masonic Lodge in the Thirties, same lodge Harry S. Truman belonged. He belonged to the Illinois York Rite Bodies. He was a Past Commander of the Knights Templar. He had six brothers: Frank, Felix, Howard, Leo, Harold, and Buddy. He died 15 June 1960, in Whittier, Ca. Bessie Buzanne Williams, wife of William Alexander Williams, was born in Indiana, on 26 Nov. 1885, and died on July 1972 California. They are both buried at Rose Hills Cemetary in Whittier, Ca. Hank Williams Sr. was cousin to Tennix Williams, and Hank Williams Jr. is also related to our family. The Buzanne Family came from French Corsica, an Island off France an Italy. Ina Merle Hooker Schwarz Springer was born 3 June 1891. She died in Medford, Ore. on 10 November 1981. She had a sister Leila Hooker Lounder, who died a few years earlier. John Matthew Schwarz, Ina Merle Hookers husband, was born in the Black Forest of Germany on 23 October 1874. He died in Salinas, Ca. on 7 August 1947, and was buried in the Old Salinas Cemetary. When she was younger, she came by covered wagon across the Oregon Trail to the Rogue Valley, with a lot of her family. I have a list of family who lived in Oregon: Alfred H. Nettie Hooker mentioned a relative who was General Joseph Hooker that served in the Civil War, and would let ladies follow him and his troops. This gave the ladies the name 'Hooker's ladies.' We also had a doctor who was a Hooker and in the Northern Army. The Family Home Page of Scott A. Baldwin (Williams): Surname List |

Haines, Henley, Loving and Wymer Genealogy
William Haines, an ancestor, came to America from Dover, England in 1832, he settled in Ohio. John Henry Henley was born in Staffordshire, England in 1858. His parents are unknown but as per a census, they were both born in Ireland. John came to America in the 1870's, married Josephine Catherine Ott in Youngstown, Ohio and had his 1rst 2 children there. They then moved to Earlington, Ky. and had 4 more children. Josephine died delivering twins in Earlington, Ky., the twins died as well. John then took his remaining 6 children to southern Illinois where he bought a home in southern Illinois. John remarried Olive Sabastian from southern Illinois. Olive brought her son Leo (they all called Leo Sabastain)into the family. Olive and John then had one more child, a boy. John Henley was a music teacher and he taught all his children to play an instrument as soon as they could hold the instrument or sit at the piano. The family played at the Madi Gra, at the St. Louis World's Fair, and they traveled in a box car across America performing at concerts. In his later years John Henry Henley played for the Barnum and Bailey Circus with his youngest son, Francis. The main music they played was Ragtime and Marches. The Wymer's were located in Ohio for years. They are of German descent. |

The Baines family has been in Canada for one hundred and eighty years, since the comming of Thomas Baines to Toronto in 1821. Before this the Baines' were Rectors of St. Bartholemew, Richards Castle, gentlemen in Suffolk and Shropshire and clothier merchents in Stratford St. Mary. The first author of our line that we know of was Robert Baines of Stratford St. Mary in 1586.
