Aiken primarily from the Bayfield, WI area. Grandfather was Henry Aiken. Henry was born June 21, 1887 and died in Bayfield, Wisconsin on March 21, 1977. Henry's father was John Aiken, born in 1862 and died in 1908.\r\nMattson family from Finland. Last known city in Finland was Vitasaari,(Spelling may be incorrect). Great Grandfather was Evert J. Mattson, born in 1872 and died around 1952 in Minnesota. He was married to Esther J. Mattson.

C. \r\n\r\n\r\nJames worked for the City of Columbia until death. Married Bertha Perry from Richland County, S. C. \r\n\r\nWe understand that James came from Fairfield or possibly Chester County, S. C. He had 7 children. \r\n\r\nHe is buried in Elmwoood Cemetery in Columbia along with\r\nBertha. He was my grandfather. \r\n\r\nJames was b: 29 Feb 1872, d: 2 Nov 1923.
