The McLachlan line comes from Archibald McLachlan of Nova Scotia, born in 1847, immigrated to the USA moving into Colorado, city of Craig in 1869. His parents were both born in Scotland. The Schwarz Family is from Britten, Merzig, Prussia. My Grand-Father: Tennix LaFayette Williams--born in Mt. Grove, Mo. 1 March 1907 and died on 1 June 1972. His father was William Alexander Williams--born Springfield, Missouri, 12 July 1882. He was Master of the Masonic Lodge in the Thirties, same lodge Harry S. Truman belonged. He belonged to the Illinois York Rite Bodies. He was a Past Commander of the Knights Templar. He had six brothers: Frank, Felix, Howard, Leo, Harold, and Buddy. He died 15 June 1960, in Whittier, Ca. Bessie Buzanne Williams, wife of William Alexander Williams, was born in Indiana, on 26 Nov. 1885, and died on July 1972 California. They are both buried at Rose Hills Cemetary in Whittier, Ca. Hank Williams Sr. was cousin to Tennix Williams, and Hank Williams Jr. is also related to our family. The Buzanne Family came from French Corsica, an Island off France an Italy. Ina Merle Hooker Schwarz Springer was born 3 June 1891. She died in Medford, Ore. on 10 November 1981. She had a sister Leila Hooker Lounder, who died a few years earlier. John Matthew Schwarz, Ina Merle Hookers husband, was born in the Black Forest of Germany on 23 October 1874. He died in Salinas, Ca. on 7 August 1947, and was buried in the Old Salinas Cemetary. He had two brothers, Milo and Benjamin; they were born in Germany as well. Nettie Hooker, Ina Merle Hookers mother, was born on 5 April 1869 and died on 28 May 1965 in Medford, Ore. When she was younger, she came by covered wagon across the Oregon Trail to the Rogue Valley, with a lot of her family. I have a list of family who lived in Oregon: Alfred H. Hooker--born in 1840; died 10 Feb. 1910 Jane Hooker--born 1844; died 1931 H. Edwin Hooker--born 1866; died 1942--WWII Cavalry John Delbert Hooker--born 1876; died 1936 Sarah Abeth Hooker--born 1880; died 1970 Audrey May Hooker--born in Rogue Valley 4 May 1907; died 14 Nov. 1912 Delbert Alfredo Hooker--born in Rogue Valley on 19 Dec. 1911; died 5 Sept. 1914 There is also Frank Hooker, and his wife Ethel. Nettie Hooker mentioned a relative who was General Joseph Hooker that served in the Civil War, and would let ladies follow him and his troops. This gave the ladies the name 'Hooker's ladies.' The ANNOTICO Family in the US, started with Giuseppe Annotico, born February 4,1882 in Ficarra, Messina, Sicily. Felicia Dabenne was born on September 22, 1889 in Sant'Agata Militello, Messina, Sicily. Giuseppe married Felicia on December 11, 1904 in Sant'Agata Militello. Giuseppe's and Felica's first child Maria born in 1905, died in 1906, at the age of 8-9 months. Giuseppe boarded the SS Napolitan Prince in Palermo and landed in New York on July 15, 1906, from whence he proceeded immediately to Cleveland, Ohio where a relative of his wife (Vitanza)was already situated. Giuseppe's wife Felicia followed him 8 months later and landed in NY on March 24 ,1907,and proceded to Cleveland. Tony, the next of nine other children was born to Felicia and Giuseppe on April 7 1908. Joseph (May 9, 1911), Concetta/Jenny (July 2,1914), Vincenzo (July 12, 1917), Mary (Setember 26, 1921), Salvatore/Sammy (November 11, 1924), Rose (January 8, 1927),Grace (July 23, 1930), Ronald (June 6, 1934).All 10 children were born in 3-4 year intervals. My grandfather, Peder Johannes (John Peter) Svendsen immigrated in 1914 on the SS United States (not the famous liner but the old steamer). He was born in a house called Sejehuset in a small village called Slaglille in Alsted, Sor? amt in 1892. His mother's family had lived in the house for generations. I have traced his father's family (Jacob Conrad Svendsen) back to Holsteinborg on the southern coast of Sealand not too far from Slaglille still in Sor? amt.
